Atlanta AI Dinner is an invitation‑only gathering for Atlanta's AI leaders to break bread, share ideas, and talk shop—no pitches, no panels, just good people and better conversation.
Curious? Email Will for details, see who attends, or check out where we go.
Atlanta AI Dinner is an invitation-only gathering for people actually working in AI in Atlanta. We meet occasionally to eat good food and have real conversations about the work we're doing—no pitches, no vendor presentations, just authentic discussion about AI challenges, breakthroughs, and everything in between.
Everyone pays for their own meal. This keeps things honest and means there's no commercial agenda lurking behind the dinner. No sponsors, no company picking up the tab in exchange for presentations—just people buying their own food and having genuine conversations. I will not be trying to sell you a data platform.
Absolutely! Students working on AI in the Atlanta area should definitely join. We reserve at least one spot at each dinner for a student, and I'll cover their bill. The only requirement is that you're actually working on AI projects or research.
Dinners happen periodically—there's no set schedule. I'll post times and locations in our Discord with a signup link, and members can sign up for the ones that work for them. Other members are also welcome to organize additional dinners.
We pick restaurants based on where we actually want to eat, not corporate event spaces. For an idea of the kind of places I like, check out the restaurant guide on mcginniscommawill.com. It will be somewhere good, not a random mid tier steakhouse.
Significant others are welcome if they're willing to participate actively in the conversation. The goal is to keep the discussion focused on AI work and maintain the authentic vibe of the group.
Yes! Anyone can host a dinner. Once you're in the group, you're welcome to organize additional gatherings. The more good conversations, the better.
Just email me at will@mcginniscommawill.com and I'll add you to the group. Once you're in, you'll get access to our Discord where dinner announcements are posted.
The best conversations often happen between dinners. Our Discord lets people continue discussions, share interesting papers, ask quick questions, or organize smaller meetups. It's the same authentic vibe as the dinners, just ongoing.
Reach out, I'm happy to post about your dinner in the discord, but that's a different kind of vibe than what we're going for here.
